Frequently asked questions
Can I take the online intermediate exam more than once if I have already passed it?
Yes, the purpose of the online intermediate exam is to ensure that you do not register for the final exam until you are fully prepared. Of course, you can retake it as often as you like, every 24 hours, to practice and prepare for the final exam.
Is the examination date freely selectable or predetermined?
There are no fixed exam dates - you arrange an individual date with your examiner.
How much are the examination costs?
Examination fees in Germany and Austria:
- B licence, A licence: 125 €
- Nutritionist, Vegan Nutritionist, Nutritionist for Infants and Toddlers: 98,20 €
- Personal Trainer, Pilates, Yoga, Strength & Conditioning Coach, Group Fitness Instructor: 150 €
Examination fees in Switzerland:

What happens if I fail the practical exam?
You can take 3 re-examinations (so you have a total of 4 attempts). The examination fees are due again for a re-examination and would have to be paid directly to the examiner in advance.
If you still fail the exam on your fourth attempt, we will refund the cost of your training (excluding exam fees).
Is the final examination similar to the intermediate examination?
The level of the questions in the intermediate exam is based on the final exam. However, the scope of the final exam is greater, i.e. there are more multiple-choice questions to answer than in the intermediate exam. You can find more information about the exam days on the respective product pages.
